Never seen In the Mood for Love, or most of Wong Kar Wai's movies, but I do own Chungking Express. So happy to see Faye Wong here then because for me, she is what made that movie so great. Absolutely loved her in that role, wow, awesome! Really enjoyed the above performances from Chow Yun-Fat and Tony Leung Chui-Wai, though I’m not surprised to see them there. I find the Chow and Wong picks over Tony and Maggie very interesting; I think the winning performances were more transportive, more thrilling, which seems to be what cinema is about, so it's fair they won.
