I disagree about Ada Choi, I think out of all of the Miss HK contestants she has been the best actress and she could have pulled off Kate's role, look at her performances in her early movie roles. I did not really see much of series before STEPS so I can't judge her earlier career, but I thought she was good in STEPS. Haven't seen Eye in the Sky yet but I'm guessing she was probably one of the better TVB stars on the big screen in recent history. ... and I think she's pretty too. TVB is planning on massively promoting her now despite people's criticism so I'm all for watching more of her on TV. BTW, winning any TVB award is not an indication of anything since it's all just a favouritism schmoozefest. She was quite good at playing that kind of yuppie, career woman, thankless role. Maybe in femme fatale-type parts, she's got a good future. I'm anxious to see what you think of Exodus -- I was a bit late in finally watching it -- it is a weird film even by Hong Kong standards but the production values are so high that it adds a kind of art film sheen to everything.
