I don’t think Crystal will make it but Isabella will. She’s gorgeous and has a more “international” look being part Portuguese.

Forbidden Kingdom is not a good film but it sure is entertaining. I only saw it because it is Jet and Jackie together and kept my expectations really low, so I ended up having a good time. I liked Li Bing Bing better than Crystal (but this maybe due to the fact that the character she acted is one I like a lot, thanks to Brigitte)

Sanney, I picked Sarah Marshall over Forbidden Kingdom and now I wish I’d seen Forbidden Kingdom because Sarah Marshall is thin. It’s just a one joke movie.

Really awesome review. I mostly agree with you, though I think i liked the movie more, and I didn’t have any problem with Jackie’s English. In fact, I think this is one of his most personality-driven roles of late and he certainly was engaging and charismatic in it. You couldn’t take your eyes off Jackie and Jet Li, who was simultaneously intense and gentle. Their chemistry is the key the movie and I think elevates it to something more than either has done in a movie for the west. I also have zero problem with the bookend story. Yeah, the bully is a little ridiculous, but the frame probably will help some young future fan understand gain access to this world, so so be it. But great review!

I agree, won’t happen. jackie Chan said she would be the next Li, which is laugable. These martial arts actresses are a dime a dozen

I went to see the film with low expectations and had a good time. If I had had high expectations …

One disturbing thing at least to my weird little mind, a 16 year old shouldn’t have so much chest hair! Someone should have sent that actor for a wax job.
