Maria Bello is a crap replacement for Rachel Weisz. Isabella is overrated. In his review, Kozo said that she looks "lost" in the film and I agree. I'd go further and say that she looks overwhelmed. I think Isabella's lack of obvious charisma is what works for her -- her performance in Isabella was quite natural and understated (making the Anita Mui tribute scene especially powerful when it happened). I think she could have a future in Western art house-type films easily. I am sad to see Jet Li doing this kind of stuff now, though. What no one is asking is why Anthony Wong doesn't have a big career in the West? He has already shown that he can succeed in virtually any genre. Hey,
