borte rescuing temudjin is pretty ridiculous, but cao cao going to war for xiao qiao? I dunno, lin chi-ling does look pretty hot...

speaking of going to movies for research, have you seen or are you going to see "ashes of time redux"? is there even releases of the movie where you live, because it is only a limited release. I'm wondering because it's been ages since I've seen the original, so I'm afraid I won't know what's been changed in the movie, if anything major, and want see if you would know. I'm planning to watch the redux next week then try to buy the original and see if I can spot the differences.

More humiliation for Gillian. Sanney, do you think that her career is over?

It is surreal to see her shopping at a Wal-Mart especially when I can remember seeing pictures of her shopping at designer places in HK.

Pumpkin ice cream sounds delicious. Is there a little cinnamon in it?

Thanks for the link! I'm flattered, really.

I think Teresa Chiang is in the commercials at least. Glad you sat through the film because I almost did just to see Ah Gil and I would have been disappointed.

And the sight of her in an American Wal-Mart is surreal to say the least.

I mentioned on my blog that I was waiting for you to post something on Gigi Lai's retirement. Even though I've seen a lot of her films, I am hoping that you can put her career into context the way others can't.
