The first one actually funded the lauded "The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros" (Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros) which went on to win awards at international festivals, as well as became the first Filipino film to be showcased at Sundance. :) It's been doing wonders for our local film industry, IMHO, in terms of the injection of new and fresh ideas and the encouragement for more Filipino people to become interested in Filipino films again.
