rachael,

It was at the Tower Records Shinjuku, although the official website said they have similar displays in Shibuya as well.

Eliza Bennet,

Thanks! They also has the Happy Together soundtrack, but it cost more than double, and I already had it with that mega-expensive box set.

YTSL,

Ponyo does recall a similar design, and has been compared to Totoro in the early reviews.

And I think I got the same version as you, since it doesn't have those tracks you mentioned as well. They're considerably easier to find from other albums though.

Is it just me or does Ponyo look like a leg-less, baby version of "My Neighbor Totoro"'s Mei? ;b

And good job re getting the "Chungking Express" OST: Is it like the one I got a few years back from a Hong Kong HMV -- i.e., sadly minus Dinah Washington's "What a Difference a Day Makes" and the Mamas and Papas' "California Dreaming"? (Even without though, I consider it a real find!)
