Hi, Wisekwai,

now.com.hk has shut down its box office numbers website, so that link is broken. I should've made it clearer, but I only covered the Sunday gross while Box Office Mojo looks at the overall weekend gross. Nevertheless, the accumulated total matches my stats, and it's confirmed on the HK Filmart website:

Seems like people in HK didn't really like the film, as indicated by its sharp drop. They probably didn't expect a period film, nor did they expect it to end abruptly like it did.

I'm checking that link on your HK box office numbers and am getting an error message.

Seems I can't rely on Box Office Mojo, whose numbers don't jibe at all with what you and Variety are saying.

Ong-Bak 2 has also opened in Singapore and I'm trying to find a source for B.O. figures from there to see how it did.

Shinjuku Incident and Red Cliff II are set to also open soon in Bangkok. One downtown cinema will show Red Cliff II with the Mandarin soundtrack - thank goodness. I'm hoping they'll have an original soundtrack for Shinjuku somewhere too.
