Las Vegas, Nevada - Capping off a whirlwind romance, LoveEkinCheng.com film critic Calvin "Sanjuro" McMillin wed Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi in ceremonies held earlier last week. This will be the first marriage for both. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star was quoted as saying, "He's got it all - brains, wit, and an undeniable sex appeal, what more could a superstar ingénue like myself want out of life?" The schoolteacher/writer extraordinaire added, "What better place to celebrate the exquisite beauty of our blessed union than to be married at the Las Vegas "Chapel O' Love" by an ordained Elvis impersonator?"

Though the newlyweds seem very much in love, the fallout of such a high-profile marriage is evident as reactions to the hasty nuptials were mixed, even among Sanjuro's former LoveHKFilm.com colleagues. Fellow reviewer RainDog grumbled, "Why'd she pick that bastard? He's a drunk, a womanizer, and doesn't play well with others." Similarly, when asked for her two cents, rumored former flame Magicvoice would only cryptically say, "I'm sending him some char siu bao in the mail. So there." When asked his opinion, ousted LoveHKFilm.com webmaster Kozo said, "I pity both of them."

While many people are doubtful that the match will last, at least one person was downright skeptical that the marriage even took place. "It's a total sham," said a forum poster who would only identify himself as "ekinchenghater69." Though a eagle-eyed moderator deleted his post from the LoveHKFilm.com Community, portions of ekinchenghater69's scurrilous post have been retrieved, though this newspaper has had to correct many misspellings, delete extraneous emoticons, and spell out several ridiculously annoying web abbreviations. In this post, the member wrote, "I don't think that's a real picture. Something's just a little off about it. Besides, based on what he said about Ekin Cheng, I bet he's gay."

Despite his critics, the new groom couldn't be happier, saying, "I understand that distance can put a strain on a relationship so I'm going to take steps to prevent that from happening." Though he will still write occasionally for new website LoveEkinCheng.com, McMillin has since tendered his resignation from Highland West Junior High, and will be accompanying his new wife on her next location shoot in China. "Besides," he added with a wink, "it'll be nice to have my very own sugar mama to rely on."
