This well-meaning women's drama is full of lovely little nuggets
of wisdom, but nothing occurs that hasn’t been done before
in a much better way. Four women (Yoyo Mung, Chan Pak-Yu,
Annie Man and Astrid Chan) each search for love in their own
fashion, all culminating in a night on the beach at the dawn
of the new Millennium. Unfortunately, the plot can be trying
as it relies on tired clichés and questionable sexual politics
to provide the drama. A bit of fantasy comes into play too,
as the stuff that happens sometimes defies belief. Skip this
flick unless lousy chick dramas are your absolute thing. (Kozo
